So as many of you no, today is the day were couples spend the day together exchanging gifts and cooking dinners, but not everyone has a valentine. So here's a few things to help you get through the sloppiest day of the year..

1. Remember! There's always someone else that hasn't got a valentines, it might be one of your friends or a close family member that is around your age, maybe a cousin or sibling. So don't think your completely alone, if you want to go spend the day with them. I'm sure they'll want some company too!

2. Just think, this is a perfect time to have some 'me time' so grab a few DVDs, stick on your onesie and get a load of junk food and spend the day in bed! Make Tom Cruise or Johnny Depp your valentines..ooft!

3. Sometimes it can be quite depressing going out and seeing loads of smoochy, loving couples around, so do some retail therapy, go into the shops and buy some stuff that, in fact, you don't REALLY need (but don't go getting yourself into millions of debt!) and walk around with your head held high! 

4. Finally, if after all of this you still feel like valentines day is one of the most depressing days, just make the most of it, take advantage of all of the special gifts and chocolates in the shops and get a heart shaped box of chocolates, stick on a face mask and just remember, this day is soon going to be over..just remember..Johnny Depp is still there for you;).
